I learned the sad news of Adrian's passing just today (March 28th). I knew Adrian from his days at Alcan head office in Montreal. We worked and traveled a lot together and besides his intelligence, he was a caring and fun travel companion. My colleague Bernard Hermann and I learned a lot about the UK and it's culture from him.
